A televised statement by the Poor Clares of Belorado, who have joined a sedevacantist sect, has left the Archbishop of Burgos, Mario Iceta, emotionally challenged ("very painful"), writes ReligionDigital.org (16 May).
The nuns have declared that Francis is "a heretic and usurper" and that there has not been a valid Pope since Pius XII.
Mgr Iceta mentioned that a change of abbess was due on 29 May. He wants to "build bridges" and sit down with the nuns "when the conditions are right", but "at the moment they are not, with all the media tsunami".
He is "particularly concerned about the older sisters who are not at their best mentally". One of the nuns, Sister Amparo, has left the community. She saw some suspicious things but didn't know what was going on in her convent. The story she can tell is very fragmentary.

On 28 April, in the parish of Our Lady of the Rosary, known as the Sanctuary of Santa Terezinha, in Taubaté, São Paulo, Brazil, a priest disrespected a faithful and refused him Communion (video below).

In a meeting with 800 priests and religious in the Basilica of San Zeno during his visit to Verona on 18 May, Francis once again promoted formalism by calling for cheap absolution after an empty confession.
He overlooked the fact that confession has virtually died out after Vatican II precisely because of such formalism.
"Confession should not be a torture," he said, as if anyone had ever claimed it was. Then Francis, who is known to be vindictive and unforgiving, added: "Please forgive everything" and "forgive without making them suffer" - something Francis himself has never done since he has been running the Vatican.

Married Spanish Ex-Bishop Xavier Novell "is not so orthodox or conservative" as he seemed, his wife Silvia Caballol told Antena3.com.
She is an author of pornographic literature. “It's one thing to preach and quite another to live it”, she explained.
According to her, Novell is not against homosexual sins and both have "many" homosexual and transvestite friends. Caballol believes that the Church has made "a lot of progress" [= regress] on these issues, "because now they give their [pseudo] blessing," Caballol says.

Luxembourg Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich believes that Francis will not introduce [invalidly] ordained priestesses.
Simultaneously, he referred to one of the Dubia of five cardinals which asked about John Paul II’s teaching in Ordinatio Sacerdotalis that women cannot be priests. According to Jean-Claude Hollerich, “Francis responded very wisely: It is binding, but not forever” (Kath.ch, 17 May).
In other words: Ordinatio Sacerdotalis means nothing and can be changed at any time. Hollerich confirms this interpretation: “It is not an infallible doctrinal decision. It can be changed. It needs arguments and time.”

On 17 May, Tucho Fernández published guidelines on alleged supernatural phenomena entitled "Norms for proceeding in the discernment of alleged supernatural phenomena."
The main change: Neither the local bishop nor the Vatican will declare that phenomena are of supernatural origin, but the Vatican can authorise the local bishop to declare that a phenomenon is "not supernatural".
There is no provision in these norms for ecclesiastical superiors to give positive recognition to the divine origin of alleged supernatural phenomena, the regulations state.
The second major change is the centralisation of the process, since Francis is the pope of Roman centralism. The local bishop's decisions must be given approval by the Vatican.

Norah O'Donell of CBS News asked Francis during an interview that will be published in full next Sunday: "There are conservative bishops in the United States who oppose your new efforts to revisit teachings and traditions. How do you respond to their criticism?"
Francis: "They use this adjective 'conservative' [belittling smile]. A conservative is someone who clings to something and does not want to see beyond it. It is a suicidal attitude. Because it is one thing to consider tradition, to consider situations from the past. It is quite another to be locked up in a dogmatic box."

A total of 49 Vatican employees are threatening to file a complaint over poor working conditions that "do not respect the basic principles of dignity".
The group includes 47 museum guards, a restorer and a bookshop worker. According to Italian media, they intend to take the Governatorato, the Vatican administration headed by Cardinal Fernando Vérgez Alzaga, a Spanish Legionary of Christ, to court if they do not receive a satisfactory response to their demands.
In a letter to Vérgez Alzaga, they say that the working conditions in the Vatican Museums are detrimental to the dignity and health of the workers.
They complain that they have been unfairly paid for overtime, that they have not received promotions and that they have to pay back part of the salary they received without working because of the closures during the Covid hysteria. Other Vatican workers may be ready to join the complaints.

A 15 May synod report of the bishops of Austria strongly supports "sacramental deaconesses", which cannot exist.
The Austrian bishops claim to have had "good experiences" with women in leadership positions, although everyone knows that envy, pressure, paternalism, careerism, etc. are rampant.
For the bishops these "leadership positions" are still only "a partial answer". They speak of a "women's problem" ("enormous loss of credibility", "massive threat to the mission of the Church") and claim that it would be satisfactorily solved by the [invalid] "sacramental deaconess".

The mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, whose mother was a police informer during the communist regime in Poland, has banned the display of "religious symbols" (= crosses) from the town hall. Since the fall of communism, Warsaw is the first city in Poland to do so.
Gazeta Wyborcza reported on 16 May that the discrimination against the cross is justified by the "fight against discrimination".
Trzaskowski is deputy leader of the 'Civic Platform' party, the main component of Poland's ruling coalition under Donald Tusk. Civil servants in Warsaw will not even be allowed to display religious symbols on their desks. All official events must not include any kind of prayer - a sign that the old communist times have returned.
At the same time, homosexual propaganda is imposed. City employees are required to treat a homosexual concubinage as if it were legal and to address transvestites as if they were real men or real women.

José Andrés Calderón has been fined a total of 3,600 euros for praying with others the rosary in public in Madrid.
He began the peaceful rosary on the steps of the Inmaculado Corazón de María church in November, during a period of national unrest. The site is a short distance from the headquarters of the ruling Socialist Workers' Party.
Up to 500 people had been meeting regularly until the regime banned the regular rosaries on 27 November. After that the number of participants increased. Some people were arrested and fined. A video of a 60-year-old woman being pushed into a police van was widely circulated online.
A lawyer challenged the ban as a violation of the right to assembly. In December, the Madrid Provincial Court rejected the appeal. People continued to pray.

Archbishop Julian Porteous of Hobart, Australia, has denounced a campaign to overturn Christian moral principles.
As a result, the enemies of common sense have responded with intense hatred. In a May 2 pastoral letter ('We are salt to the earth'), Mgr Porteous made statements about human dignity and religious and parental freedom.
For example, he said: "Believing in God as Creator, we see our identity as male and female as a gift. We therefore see efforts to separate gender from biological sex as a denial of the reality of who we are".

Mexico's federal appeals court in April rejected an attempt by a transvestite propagandist to force the Church to alter baptismal records in favour of a person's self-declaration.
In 2021, a man suffering from gender ideas of being a 'woman' argued that Mexican privacy law required the Diocese of Querétaro to comply with the request, regardless of biological reality and historical facticity.
As a result, Mexico's National Data Protection Institute ruled that the diocese had to amend the baptismal records.
The diocese challenged the decision and won in a district court. An appeals court now upheld the decision on the grounds that the Church has a constitutionally protected right to manage its internal affairs without government interference.
The decision sets an important precedent for defending the religious freedom and autonomy of churches and religious organisations in Mexico against the fascist homosex propaganda.

Veer Dusauchoit, 62, is suing the Church in Belgium for "discrimination" because she cannot become a deacon.
Dusauchoit has worked for 30 years in the parish of Herent, near Leuven, in Flemish Brabant, where she presides over funerals and liturgies of the word. The parish has no priest.
She tried to enrol in a four-year course to become a deacon, but was turned down, and sees this rejection as "gender discrimination".
"I am indeed angry, but I am also determined," she told Belgian state broadcaster Rtbf.be (14 May) which is known for its anti-Church stances.
A spokesman for the Archdiocese of Mechelen-Brussels defended the decision: "At the moment (sic) only men can be ordained deacons. So there's no point in doing the formation, because the finality of becoming one is impossible".
The spokesman added: "The Belgian bishops are in favour of [invalid] women deacons."

The Diocese of Buffalo, New York, has adopted rules requiring priests and diocesan employees to consult with diocesan officials before speaking to so-called reporters.
The new policy states that diocesan communications officials will "either address the request directly or work with the employee to provide a response to the inquiry".
Joe Martone, the diocese's director of communications, points out: "What we're really trying to do is not stifle the communication of the diocese, we're trying to coordinate it."
This is understandable, as many priests are naïve and don't realise that media activists are not interested in the truth. Instead, they only talk to people to promote their own agenda and narrative.

Rev. Thomas McHale, 53, priest of Our Blessed Lady Immaculate Parish in Blackhill, County Durham, England, said in his Good Friday sermon that Christ had an erection when he died on the cross.
Indulging in his sick fantasies, the 53-year-old American citizen said that blood would have rushed to Christ's lower body as a result of the execution by crucifixion.

The Poor Clares of Belorado, Archdiocese of Burgos, Spain, have announced that they are leaving the jurisdiction of the archdiocese to join a certain Bishop Pablo de Rojas Sanchez-Franco. The 15 nuns of Belorado are known for selling sweets.
De Rojas was educated in an Opus Dei school and later became close to the Priestly Society of Pius X. In 2005 he founded his own "Pía Unión de San Pablo Apóstol" in Bilbao. This group has about 100 members and some "clergy" and is somehow linked to Palmar de Troya, Seville, a group that has its own "pope" who comes from Switzerland and has invented its own Novus Ordo.
De Rojas's headquarters in Bilbao has ornaments everywhere, bookcases, ornate furniture, crockery and maids in bonnets.
